"Best Partition Manager out there" by hockemoto
have used this program to resize, create, delete, format and even once, rebuild the MBR. This was across 4 large drives of different makes on 11 different partitions. All this was done rather quickly, without any data loss.

Hard disk resize software

Months ago, I bought a laptop which has been pre-installed with Windows Server 2003 and the vendor configured the system partition – C drive to have only 50 GB and other data partitions are extremely large. Now, I am facing the low disk space issue when I plan to installed a player to C drive. Following the installation steps and storing the files into default destination, I suddenly receive Low Disk Space warning on system partition. To fix the issue, I finally choose to reset destination. However, I know the exact meaning of certain alert, so I urgently need to resize C drive under Windows Server 2003. There is a self-contained Disk Management tool in the system, but I wonder if it can work for me? Or I need to download a piece of server hard disk resize software?

Why to Resize Hard Disk Partition

Partition resizing refers to adjust the size of a specified partition according to actual demands, either shrink it or expand it. Users are expected to extend a partition by taking free space form other large-capacity partitions if it runs out of space, while partition shrinking can release some free space. With the help of the two features, users can make better of disk space and optimize system performance.
What if Server 2003 partition runs out of space? Indeed, there is a Disk Management tool available to manage partition, but users have to realize partition resizing in an indirect way. For example, if users need to enlarge system partition, they ought to delete partition at first. Then, recreate partition (reset a larger partition capacity, specify a drive letter, format it with NTFS or whatever). Apart from the energy-consuming process, partition data security is another concern for computer users. Therefore, software for server hard disk resize is in dire need. Actually, MiniTool Partition Wizard Server Edition is an excellent choice.

Magic of MiniTool Disk Resizing Software

The most fascinating highlight of MiniTool Partition Wizard is its intuitive interfaces and simple operations. To make it more pervasive, we would like to introduce the exact operational steps to extend C drive with the software:
1. Perform software downloading and installation. After that, launch the software to open its main interface.
2. In the main console, users can view the detailed partition configuration. Since users want to perform system partition expansion, they need to choose C drive and then click “Extend Partition” in left action panel. Also, users can click “Extend” option from pop-up window after right clicking target partition.
3. Under “Take Free Space from” tab, specify a partition with much unused space left or an unallocated space to take free space from. Then, drag the sliding handle to take needed disk space and click “OK” button to go back to main interface of MiniTool hard disk resizing software.
4. In the main interface, users can see that the chosen partition has been resized. If it is what users want, just click “Apply” button in the upper left corner to make final confirmation.
Partition resizing is one of the multiple powerful functions of the recommended software. If you also want to better manage Server computer, hurry to download MiniTool Partition Wizard. Its high management capability will surprise you all.
