"Best Partition Manager out there" by hockemoto
have used this program to resize, create, delete, format and even once, rebuild the MBR. This was across 4 large drives of different makes on 11 different partitions. All this was done rather quickly, without any data loss.

NTLDR Is Missing

Now many of you may choose to upgrade to Windows 10 operating system, however, it is possible to fail to load with such an error message “NTLDR is missing”, just like the following screenshot says:

Windows will suggest you to press “Ctrl + Alt + Del” keys to restart. Usually, this error still exists after trying to restart the computer for several times. Why does Windows fail to find NTLDR files? What should you do to solve this issue?

Before introducing the solutions to you, let’s see what NTLDR is. Generally speaking, NTLDR is short for NT loader which refers to the boot loader for all releases of Windows NT operating system up to and including Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. NTLDR not only can run from the primary hard disk drive, but also run from portable storage devices, including CD-ROM, USB flash drive or floppy disk.

Actually, if Windows can’t find NTLDR, you need to learn about its factors and then start to fix the issue. Generally, here are the reasons:

• Your computer boots from a hard disk without boot files.
• Boot-related files and MBR are corrupted.
• Hard drive sectors are damaged.
• BIOS is outdated.
• IDE cables is loose
