There always exists a system partition in our computer. It mainly refers to the certain partition that is used to start Windows. In general, the root directory of this partition comprises the startup files (such as boot.ini and NT Loader) of operating system. And C drive in system disk is always set as system partition.
System partition must be primary partition, because our computer can only start from primary partition. Sometimes, users should convert logical partition to primary partition, because they may find that their system partition is set as logical rather than primary. Let’s consider the following situation: after users installed dual system to their computer (one system is installed in C drive while the other system is installed in D drive), they may find that the computer can only start from one system partition (C drive). This may be because the other system volume is logical. Under this situation, users need to start computer first. And then, they can set the other system partition as primary.
Here we will introduce a good way to users in order to set partition as primary. Users can use partition manager to convert logical partition to primary partition with ease.
Step 1, after launching MiniTool Partition Wizard, users should choose a target partition that will be set as primary.
Step 2, users can click “Set Partition as Primary” from the left action panel in the main interface of this software.

Users can see that it’s very easy for them to convert logical partition to primary partition by using this partition manager. Users can click here to get it right now if they want to set partition as primary on their own.
